We’ve examined the wine consumption in the USA by alcohol (beer, spirits, wine).

NHI published a report on alcohol consumption from 1993 to 2013. Gallons of ethanol, based on population age 15 and older prior to 1970 and on population age 14 and older thereafter.

Breakdown of consumption per type of alcohol in 2013:
Beer: 48%
Spirits: 34%
Wine: 18%
